Ellyn is 21 and bright as the sun. Her given name means Sun’s glow. Nyl is 21 and dark as the moon.

Ellyn invented this second character as a teenager. It’s a contraction of her given name written backward.

Ellyn & Nyl are one.

She faced a lot of bad experiences and traumas throughout her teenage years and her young adult life : depression, addictions, anxiety, self harm, men assaults to name a few, leading her to hospitalization in 2021 and several suicide attempts, resulting near death in the end of 2023. 

Locked up in her badself, Ellyn then decided it was time for her to take her fate in hand. This is not without difficulties from day to day but she’s fine.

Ellyn chose love over destruction. As a message out there for everyone, love is a key. Love has no boundaries, no differences in class, genre, social, race, age. Love heals, love connects, love saves.

Her glowing eyes sometimes suddenly change to the darkest expression. Crying out loud at night is a way to let things go and to realign with the good things. Sleep and dreams soothes her.

As a reminder and an acceptation, Ellyn tattooed a symbol on her right forearm, symbolizing the two sides of her. She’s now embracing herself as a whole, even though she’s getting lost from time to time. That’s where love, again, allows her to recover and move forward for the better.
